We enjoyed a great time of food and fellowship with our pastor and wife, Dan and Diann, who just returned from a trip to Japan visiting with Diann's family. They shared with us some interesting details about how Dan managed to spend two weeks with a group of people who the only English speaking person was his wife. Dan did learn one word of Japanese. I can't spell it, but it meant, good food. They had a great time. We also had some special guest having dinner with us today. Let us never take our churches for granite. It is a blessed privilidge we have to be able to attend the church of our choice. It may not always be that way. We had a very good visit with our son, Rick, this past week. He is our fix-it guy. He fixed several things for us that somehow was beyond Charles and my understanding. It was quite simple for Rick. God bless him good. He helped me to make his favorite food, berox, so he could learn how to make it himself. We grilled a rack of pork ribs with all the extras that go with them, and just had a good time of, eating it up. We've had beautiful weather lately for which I am thankful, but it is now time to clean all the dead flowers and garden stull off the yard. What a fun time coming up.
God bless
M. Jean Sharp
