"Ye Have Not Chosen Me"

  1. John 15: 15-16. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
  2. I honestly have to ask the question, how many of us are following the leading of the Father rather than leaning to an inclination? If one has a subject worthy to be discussed, then why can't we openly do just that? Are people afraid of becoming unpopular? Is there such a thing as two-faced servants? Did Jesus' Father tell him to tell his friends one thing, but Jesus told them something else, or really nothing at all? I believe the scripture says, "I have told you everything that my Father has told me." WHY? So that we may go  and bring forth fruit. Are we hearing what the father has to say? If our selected ones who are given the responsibility of leading our church in the right direction, then they should be hearing what the Father has to say to them. Then they should let the rest of us hear all that the Father has said. We have all been chosen by Him. We all have the same responsibility to make things work properly for the glory of our Father who has chosen us. The one thing that I have the most trouble in dealing with is dishonesty. Some people just seem to have a way to justify their dishonesty. They seem to define it as, wisdom. Call it what you may, but it all goes down in your record book as being exaltly what it is. You will be graded as right or wrong. My pray is, "help me Lord to get it right."
  3. This little sermonette is sufficient for most everyone who is trying to serve as a worker to the kingdom of God. Let us all be more conscience of our duties while here on earth.
  4. One of my favorite quotes.
  5. "The happiest excitement in life is to be convinced that one is fighting for all one is worth on        behalf of some clearly seen and deeply felt good, and againt some greatly scorned evil."  Ruth Benedict.
